Visualize DBF design in Map
DBF allows you to download your designs as a geo-located model(.geojson file format) that can be visualized in DBF map application within the larger city context.
Export DBF design as Geojson file
You can download your design as a geo-located model. To do this, simply click on on the download button (globe icon) at the bottom ob the ribbon menu.
Locate the downloaded file in your downloads folder.
Upload Geojson file in DBF Map
To visualize your design in the Map environment, you will first need to open the Map page for your project. You can do this by going to the dashboard and clicking on the Map option for the project you want visualize. This will take you to the site location of your existing project in the map environment.
Once you are in the Map environment, you can click on the Upload Geojson button located at the top left side of the ribbon menu.
A drag-and-drop window will open for you to drag the geojson file that you want to visualize in the Map environment. Find the geojson file that you downloaded previously and drag and drop it into this window.
Great! You should now be able to see your design in the Map environment. In this page you can use different base map layers to visualize your design within the larger context of the city. Also, you can take advantage of the other features that the map page offers to generate urban analysis studies for your design.
