Visualize Point Data in Map
DBF allows you visualize geo-spatial point data in the Map page of your project. There are many available sources where you can find point data. In this tutorial we will show you how to upload point data and visualize it as a heatmap.
Sources of Point Data
Many city agencies offer free and publicly available geo-spatial data that you can use in your project. These data sets can be: location of facilities, trees, shops and many other data points.
Here is a sample of point data for AirBnb locations found online.
Upload Point Data to DBF map
Once you have a point data set in your machine in geojson format, you can upload it to DBF map to visualize it as a heatmap.
First click on the upload button in the right side of the ribbon menu.
Simply drag-and-drop your file into the window.
Great! a heatmap of your custom point data is generate for you to visualize areas of concentration and high density of a given feature.
