Map Import GIS
DBF allows you to upload geospatial data(GIS) to define your site accurately from government databases or land surveys.
If you have access to a Shape(SHP), Google Earth (KMZ) or Geojson describing the polygon or boundary of your site, you can upload directly this file to DBF to define your site.
Export your polygon from GIS
Using your prefered GIS software(Qgis, ArcGis), export the development lot as a polygon in (.geojson )format.
Remember
- Make sure your file map projection is set to CRS: EPSG:4326 - WGS84
- Make sure your file is a single polygon(not multipolygon)
- Make sure you export to .Geojson format
Import to DBF map page
In DBF search the site of your project, simply type the name of the location and you will be taken this location on the map
Once you are in the map page, click on the upload button located at the top right of the ribbon menu. Then, select the file to upload.
Great! if your file was prepared correctly you should have an accurate represtantion of your site boudary from a GIS database.
